Please join us at Wooden Window in Oakland for this special meeting to highlight PHCA's accomplishments in 2013, meet the 2014 Board of Directors candidates in preparation for 2014 Elections, and ask Passive House experts your burning questions about technical issues. About our presenters:
Katy Hollbacher is a Certified Passive House Consultant, Licensed civil engineer in California and Wyoming, Certified GreenPoint Rater, LEED Homes Representative, & Certified Energy Plans Examiner. The Principal and Founder of Beyond Efficiency, a green building consulting firm in Berkeley, Katy has consulted on Passive House projects throughout California.
Bronwyn Barry, Assoc. AIA and Certified Passive House Designer, is an award-winning designer with a passion for Passive House and building better buildings. A former PHCA board member and an expert in Passive House window technology, Bronwyn has been instrumental in bringing Passive House technical knowledge to the Bay Area. Bronwyn works at One Sky Homes, a Design|Build company that designed the first certified Net Zero house in the state.
James Bill, AIA, designed the CLAM House, the first newly constructed certified Passive House in California. A certified Passive House Designer and current PHCA board member, James co-founded and is president of Z I A [zero impact architecture] integrating beauty with the science of deep sustainability.
