Brussels Passive House Study Tour

Sun, 10/16/2016 - 7:00pm to Tue, 10/18/2016 - 2:00pm

Passive House California is collaborating with our fellow NAPHN affilates and friends to promote a fact-finding mission to Brussels.  A special tour has been designed specifically for government and policy activists to learn how Brussels dropped their greenhouse gas emissions by 20% below 1990's levels in the space of 8 years.  Leaders and managers from the Brussels Region Ministry of Health and Environment have worked with the NAPHN to host this tour.  The tour includes:

  • A discussion hosted by the Minister of the Environment for the Brussels Capital Region
  • A workshop on the 'Exemplary Buildings' program developed by this region
  • A tour of a variety of Passive House and high performance buildings, including a retrofitted office, hotel, school, apartment building and social housing complex
  • A facilitated round-table discussion with fellow North American delegates to collate take-home messages and strategies

Dates are confirmed for October 16-18, 2016.

Space is limited to 20 delegates. Reservations are being accepted on a first-come-first served basis.

REGISTRATION IS OPEN HERE.
