PedalHaus Tour of SF Celebrating #iPHopendays

Sun, 11/12/2017 -
1:00pm to 5:00pm

Join PHCA members for an afternoon bicycle tour of three San Francisco Passive House buildings in celebration of International Passive House Days. This tour will be led by local architect and PHCA Co-President, Bronwyn Barry. We'll spend an hour at each of three residential projects located in the Mission, Bernal and Noe Valley neighborhoods of San Francisco, all within an easy bike-ride of each other.

What you can expect to see: Projects include retrofits and new construction utilizing super-insulated walls, triple-pane windows, heat-recovery ventilation systems, superior air-sealing and just plain good design. Project architects and builders will be on hand to answer your specific questions about how they've achieved exemplary performance without breaking the bank.  You'll be able to speak directly to these home owners to learn why and how they chose to use Passive House as their building method of choice.
