This is a Passive House Remodel of a summer cottage originally built in the early 20thcentury. The owners kept the old-growth interior intact and remodeled the house to Passive House Standards in 2012.   An unique feature of this house is the homemade hydronic heating loop adapted from beer brewing equipment.  Note: Plan carefully to visit this site as there are only 3 parking spaces onsite and no street parking. Round trip bike ride from Palo Alto is 16 miles.
