All About Heat Pump Water Heaters - 2018 Edition - Part 3

And these were the highly informative presentations by our vendor representatives who shared practical information on the specifics of their various products...

Part 2 of our 2018 Heat Pump Water Heaters event with the presentation shared by John Neal from the Association for Energy Affordability (AEA):

We were delighted to host two additional events focused on Heat Pump Water Heaters in collaboration with the City of Palo Alto Utilities, City of San Jose and Silicon Valley Energy Watch.  PHCA is finding our core expertise at bridging the gap between policy and implementation to be a great asset in helping shift the market towards high performance buildings in general... and specific equipment, such as the heat pump water heaters we showcased at these two well-attended events.

The slide presentation pdf linked above was the first presentation delivered by Danny Parker as part of this afternoon workshop.  (FIND ALL THE OTHER PRESENTATIONS under the Resources > Past Presentations drop-down menu at the top of our website here.)

Passive House California hosted it's AGM and Holiday Party in San Francisco this past weekend and shared details of another successful year.  See how this organization has worked to promote high performance buildings here in California and remember to become a member to ensure this work continues: http://www.passivehousecal.org/memberships.

In May, 2017, PHCA collaborated with the City of Palo Alto Utilities, the City of Berkeley Office of Sustainability and California Energy Upgrade to host a workshop on Heat Pump Water Heaters.  These two events looked at the Why and How of Heat Pump Water Heaters and included presentations from five manufacturers of these products.  The slides for this event have been broken up into three segments due the size of the files and length of the program.

PART 1:

Pierre Delforge of NRDC - 'The Why of Heat Pump Water Heaters."

John Neal of AEA.org - 'The How: Heat Pump Water Heaters for Commercial and Residential installation."

PART 2A:  Bradford White, AO Smith, Rheem
