Bio: Rhoda Fry holds a B. S. in Mathematics and Computer Science from Carnegie Mellon University and worked at Silicon Valley high tech companies until the birth of her son in 2002. Since then, her role at Bill Fry Construction has expanded from general business operations to project management and building science, which are a natural fit. Rhoda enjoys going to Passive House and building-related conferences and reading up on the latest in making homes better.

Bio: In 2017, General Contractor Bill Fry built a Passive House in Los Altos, California. Bill has been building and remodeling homes in the San Francisco Bay Area for over 20 years. His interest in green building started with his own home addition and remodel, which required creative use of recycled materials by economic necessity. Following business studies at San Jose State University, he completed a journeyman carpenter course and apprenticeship and built over 100 hillside homes in Portola Valley. After he obtained his general contractor's license and started his own company, he completed certified green builder training, epa lead safe certification, and more recently, the Passive House building course. His newest toy is blower door test equipment, which he now uses on all of his projects.
