Certified Passive House Designer and Consultant Certification | Offered by the Passive House Network (PHN) and PG&E Workforce Education and Training

Thank you for your interest in the Certified Passive House Designer and Consultant Certification offered by the Passive House Network (PHN) and PG&E Workforce Education and Training. We are now accepting applications to participate in the next Certified Passive House Designer/Consultant (CPHD) training cohort. Training starts April 14, 2023, and runs 11 weeks including exam certification.
The core of the PHN training is offered on-demand through 15 modules with multiple live-online webinars delivered by expert trainers, plus interactive knowledge sessions. The CPHD training also includes an in-person or virtual site visit of a certified Passive House project in a chosen CA location.
The application deadline is March 17th, 2023. Accepted applications will be notified by March 24th, 2023

Participant Eligibility Criteria | Certified Passive House Designer Training

  • The participant must reside in the PG&E Service Territory,
  • Or the applicant must be actively engaged in building, designing, or operating residential or non-residential construction or energy-efficiency projects located in the PG&E Service Territory.
  • Due to the technical nature of the CPHD curriculum and certification, the applicant’s eligibility requires experience with residential or non-residential construction or energy-efficiency projects.
  • Because there is limited availability in the CPHD training, applications are considered based on the time a completed application is received and by meeting the eligibility criteria stated above.
Note: PG&E Service Territory is defined as areas where PG&E provides Electric or Gas Service.
