Selecting & Sourcing High-Performance Building Products | PHCA Community Meeting

Source 2050 is a multi-vendor marketplace offering over 500 envelope, fenestration, and mechanical solutions for Passive House projects. Our product specification filters allow designers to find the best solutions for their projects and then share them with the build team. Contractors and installers can then purchase those products directly and be sure that they will be delivered on time as efficiently as possible. Our team will discuss how we work with the design and build teams to make sure they know they are using the best solutions on the market for their particular projects.

The presentation will:

• Introduce the Source 2050 team members who work with designers and builders
• Provide a tour of the Source2050.com site
• Show how designers can use Source 2050 to find solutions by the relevant building specs
• Demonstrate the Spec List function that allows designers to share these solutions with the build team
• Explain how Source 2050 works with the build team to complete take offs and arrange efficient delivery
