Version 3.0 delivers faster workflows, improved analysis and greater design flexibility. The latest version of designPH, the SketchUp plugin for energy-efficient building design, has been released. Version 3.0 introduces a range of new features designed to provide faster performance and even more reliable feedback throughout the design process.
New in version 3.0:
- Monthly heating & cooling demand calculations for more detailed performance analysis.
- Improved ground modeling for greater accuracy.
- New overlays that visually highlight different building components.
- Significantly faster shading analysis for a smoother workflow.
Combined with rapid energy performance feedback and direct export to PHPP, designPH continues to support designers from the earliest project stages through to detailed development, helping them make informed design decisions more efficiently.
License options:
designPH 3 is available in different license versions:
Version license, that will not expire, but not receive updates after the release of the next major version of designPH:
– Perpetual license
Temporary licenses:
– 2-year-license
– 1-year-license
Upgrade options:
designPH 2 license owners can upgrade their licenses to designPH 3, benefitting from the regular upgrade discount. Until end of March 2027, we will offer special upgrade discounts to license owners, who have only recently purchased a designPH 2. The conditions for these one-time special discounts will be based on perpetual license fees and offered for:
– Licenses purchased after 01.01.2024: app. 50% special upgrade discount
– Licenses purchased after 01.01.2026: app. 75% special upgrade discount
